Happy Tet Trung Thu (Moon festival or Mid-autumn) to you all, my friends!!!!!!!!!! :w00t:

I don't know how you think about the pic but this is the artwork I love best XD I drew and colored it very quickly but the simplicity of this makes me so happy.

After finished the pic, I realized somehow this girl looks really like me when I was small :")

And very happy that I can credit the whole pic to... me (not some mangaka) hehe :D

:iconanda0105:'s critique: The first thing that came to my mind when opening your work was "woah I really like the colours and the texture of the colours." They are harmonized and work very well together. I also like the character, the expression on her face is priceless :) However, I would recommend filling the white spaces, (even if with the lightest shade of colour) instead of leaving the blank page. And try to avoid vertical writings on the work itself because it distracts the viewer and makes it look "sketchy".
Overall this is a good work, just a little attentions to the up-mentioned details and you're done, imo :)

Hi, I saw you requested some critique.

First: I absolutely love the background with the bamboo and the flowers! Very well done!
On the girl there are only some minor things, which I can comment on.
I think somethings off on the arm. I'm not sure, I think it's a little bit thin. The upper arm is also a little bit thinner then the lower arm.
Also, the top of the head is "pointing" in another direction then you would expect from the face. (I hope you understand what I mean).
Lastly, maybe the dress could use a little more dept (by using shadows).

Overall I think it's a really nice work!

I think this is lovely

The only thing that seems a little off to me is that it looks like you have used a diffrent medium or the girls dress and the grass? I think the diffrence in the colour of the bamboo and the dress/grass looks slightly incosistent imho

Other wise it is lovely and a great piece

I used only watercolor pencils to color this piece. But so sad that the grass and the dress were too wet at that time, that's why the colors were grainy and ugly :(

+simple composition but effective.
+ good use of color, red and green in the right amounts can just bring it to life.
+ the edges are not so crisp on the girl's dress and legs area but it works nevertheless.
